Mónico Chávez is a San Fransisco based illustrator and visual development artist. He is a graduate of the animation department at the Academy of Art University, focusing on preproduction for film. His instructors included art directors from Pixar and Blue Sky Studios, as well as illustrators such as Kazu Sano, Henry Yan, and David Ball.
Mónico's work has been shown in exhibitions in both New York and San Francisco, and has been published in the Society of Illustrators Annual, Spectrum, and other illustration collections.
